Julie Martel, Vice-President, Corporate Development has been involved with the organizing committee for the CIBC Run for the Cure for four years. This year, with the run becoming an in-person event once again, Julie is going a step further and forming an iA Financial Group team.
You are invited to join her to walk or run 1 or 5 km on Sunday, October 2 at the Base Plein Air Sainte-Foy. You and your coworkers can join in to raise funds to support breast cancer research.
Touched by Julie’s involvement, iA Financial Group supported her team by making a donation under its donation policy for employees who get involved in their community.
If you sign up for the run as a participant, don’t forget to fill out the iA donation request form. The company will recognize your community involvement by contributing to your fundraising.
If you live in the Montreal area and want to participate in the run, contact Julie and she’ll organize a multi-site team.
Want to run or contribute?
See the iA Financial Group team page for the event. Here are a few personal words from Julie, inviting you to join:
I’m asking for your support again this year for this cause that’s particularly close to my heart. Over the years, my motivations for participating have evolved and have unfortunately become more and more concrete. For all the women in my life, and all the women in yours, I’ll be participating in the Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 2.
This year, I’m renewing my commitment to the cause by joining the organizing committee for the 2022 Quebec City Run for the Cure. This year, I’m supporting my daughter Anne-Frédérique who inspired me to get involved. Her motivation to take on the challenge of organizing and making this in-person event a success is remarkable. It wasn’t easy to maintain commitment from participants and donors through two years of virtual events.
Join us by making your commitment to the cause. Registering for the race, donations or support of any kind will make all the difference.
Thank you for your support. Your donation is still important. We will continue to work together for the cause.
