Benjamin Thibault on the road with Fondation Le Renfort

Benjamin Thibault, investment advisor at iA Private Wealth, has been participating in the Balade de rêve fundraising event for the Fondation Le Renfort for 9 years. The foundation’s goal is to improve the quality of life of children and adults with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorders in the greater Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu region.

Benjamin told us about why he is so committed to this cause:

“I’m very proud to participate in this event which, for 15 years, has been giving people who aren’t necessarily as lucky as we are the chance to experience magical rides in various vehicles. This cause is particularly close to my heart, as I grew up very close to a respite home run by the foundation. These centres provide users with temporary accommodation and offer stimulating, adapted activities. In addition to allowing families to recharge their batteries, residential stays foster the development of certain skills, particularly social and relational skills.”
