“Les Sunshine” dazzle once again at the Grand Défoulement walkathon

On September 15, at the Sainte-Foy outdoor recreational area, “Les Sunshine” proudly participated in the Grand Défoulement walkathon on behalf of the Quebec Cancer Foundation. The team led by Sylvie Deshaies included six colleagues and retirees.

A regular participant in this annual walkathon, the “Les Sunshine” team raised $9,640 this year, finishing in 3^rd position! In total, the Quebec City walkathon raised $101,500. These funds will be used to support people with cancer by providing various services: psychologists, Info-cancer hotline, massage therapy, art therapy, accommodation and much more.

To infuse even more warmth and light into this admirable initiative, iA Financial Group has made a donation to the Foundation through its donation policy for employees who get involved in their community.

Judging by their radiant smiles, the members of “Les Sunshine”, like the sun in its relentless march across the sky, are not about to stop anytime soon!
