At iA Financial Group, medical research initiatives are particularly important to us.
That is why we are proud to help fund the Clinical Scientist Research Award, supporting clinical researcher Dr. Luis Nacul and the team at BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre's Complex Chronic Diseases program.
Our $120,000 donation across two years will help provide care and treatment for myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and symptoms attributed to chronic Lyme disease.
Their goal at the Complex Chronic Diseases Program is to provide patient- and symptom-centered care with the support of an interprofessional team of health care providers. Azmina Karim-Bondy (photographed on the right), Chief Legal Counsel, Dealer Services & SMS , iA Auto, was there to present the donation.
Azmina has long been the chair of the donations committee at our Vancouver office. She is an excellent ambassador of our philanthropic presence on the West Coast of Canada.
