At iA Financial Group, strengthening the fabric of our community and protecting the environment are values that are inextricably linked. That's why we're proud to donate $210,000 to World Wildlife Canada (WWF) to support their Indigenous partners in the stewardship of their traditional lands and waters.
The 3-year donation will go towards the Regenerate Canada project which focuses on expanding habitats, reducing carbon in the atmosphere, lowering industrial impacts and, as a result, reversing wildlife loss and fighting climate change, while drawing from scientific analysis and Indigenous guidance.
The funds may go towards supporting the Secwepemcúl’ecw Restoration and Stewardship Society with wildlife restoration, working with the Mushkegowuk Council on carbon monitoring and long-term protection efforts, or strengthening any of their other important Indigenous partnerships across Canada.
We are proud to support Indigenous conservation partners as they work to restore and steward habitats and fight climate change with nature.
