Juliane Goyette, financial advisor and responsible investment specialist, volunteers with the Newmarket Food Pantry in Ontario.
She told us what drives her to dedicate herself to this cause:
My reason for volunteering and being so involved is because I feel blessed with all that I have been given and I feel it is my duty and responsibility to give back to my community.
Food insecurity is a huge issue across our country and the need is growing with the rising cost of food. I don't think that anyone should go hungry and I proudly support our local Food Pantry #nourishingneighbours, ensuring as many people as possible have food on the table.
