Thomas Yuk, Senior Investment Strategist at Group Insurance and Savings Solutions, has an active role in the 6ix Wealth Group, a charitable organization of investment professionals dedicated to raising funds for the SickKids Foundation. On November 22, 2023, at the renowned MARBL restaurant in Toronto, the group hosted its Bay Street Bounce 1.0 event, an evening of networking for like-minded professionals in the investment industry. All proceeds from this event were generously donated to the SickKids Foundation.
“Our charity event was a tremendous success!” Thomas reports. “We not only met but exceeded our fundraising goal, collecting a net total of $5,095. The feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing keen interest in joining future events.”
Buoyed by the success of this event, the 6ix Wealth Group is already laying plans for another fundraiser in 2024, this time a golf tournament.
In a show of support for Thomas's involvement, iA Financial Group contributed to the fundraising effort in line with our policy of supporting employees who are active in their communities.
