A colleague from iA Segregated Funds supports people in cancer remission in Saint John
July 12, 2021
Chris Flood, Vice President, Sales at iA Segregated Funds recently met with staff at the Saint. John Regional Hospital Foundation. He gave a $10,000 donation to the Foundation’s Stay Strong Program.
Stay Strong is a unique 12-week, free exercises program at the YMCA of Greater Saint John for people of all ages undergoing chemotherapy, radiation and hormone therapy treatment for various cancers. The main objective of the program is to minimize the negative side effects that people tend to experience from cancer treatments. It also helps to improve their quality of life and allows individuals to maintain their independence.
iA Financial Group was touched by Chris’ commitment and contributed to the donation through the donation policy for employees who get involved in their community.
Here’s a word from our generous colleague:
“We all have family, friends or neighbours who have battled with cancer. Further, a cancer diagnosis is a challenge for the patient and those they depend on for support. iA Financial Group recognizes the significant impact of cancer in our communities, and the value of contributing to programs like “Stay Strong”, which provide help and hope for patients and their caregivers.”
Thank you and congratulations, Chris.
