Our colleague Julie Vézina, from Legal Services in Quebec City, will once again participate in the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge on May 30.
This is not Julie’s first time. In 2013, she participated in the challenge and raised $2,825. Her objective in 2021 is $5,000. Thanks to the generous support from her colleagues, family and friends, she may just reach this goal, or even exceed it. Because this cause is near and dear to our hearts here at iA Financial Group, the company has also supported Julie by making a donation.
Julie explains her motivation:
“Leucan is a vital organization in the lives of children living with cancer and their families. Whether it’s support following a diagnosis or creating special moments to break these families’ isolation. And let’s not forget the funding of cancer research. Leucan takes concrete actions to help people and lower their burden. I’m lucky to have a healthy family and I hope to never take it for granted. Participating in the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge is my way of giving back to the community by supporting a cause that’s extremely important to me.

Way to go, Julie!
